Can 35,5 cl. Pours golden with a slight haze and a small, white head. Heavy coriander in the nose, some yeastiness and subtle phenols. Rich malty, fruity body, gets extremely perfumy from the ciriander - even soapy. But some solid alcohol somehow balances the soapiness, and the yeast never becomes too dominant. Actually one of the best Belgian-style beers i’ve had for a long time. 010616

Draft. Amber beer with a cream head. Light yeast and light grapefruit aroma. Grapefruit and light yeast flavor with light summer fruit. Medium bodied. Light grapefruit and light summer fruit lingers with light yeast and light backing sweetness.

12oz can pours with a clear gold body that supports a white head. The aroma is all clove, coriander and Belgian yeasty spices rimmed with malt and fruity ester sweetness. The taste starts with sweet malts, a brief flash of maybe citrus hops and then heading into firm notes of Belgian yeasty spices and cloves and coriander. For me this is far too Belgian and not enough Pale Ale going on here.

Rich, slightly hazy amber and copper coloured body with a nice two centimetre tall just off-white head. Aroma of yeast, mild bread, pale malt and some light floral hops. Medium-bodied; Strong yeastie and spice notes up front with some bread and a hop kick with some grassy and herbal notes. Aftertaste is dry with some herbal notes and a little bit of bread. Overall, a nice, but deeply bready and yeastie beer with some good flavours, but nothing spectacular. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased a few minutes ago at Whip In in Austin, Texas on 05-May-2014 sampled a few minutes later in my hotel room here in Austin on 05-May-2014.

It looks like this was canned on the 2oth day of January 2014 but it’s a bit confusing. Bought locally at Liquor Shed for $9.99 a six pack.
It pours a hazy pale gold, has a 1 finger head of foam with a non aggressive pour, tipping my glass to the side, I see lots of nice lacing.
Big nose here of clove, Belgian yeast, coriander, very Belgian Style Pale Ale like, for sure.
The taste has the clove, some light peppery notes, very yeasty of the Belgian kind, some mild sugary notes, a bit of hoppy zing that’s a bit hard for me to describe but it sure does add some tasty and enjoyable notes.
The body and carbonation are spot on. Makes for a great mouthfeel.
Wow. This is seriously good. True to style and a real bargain for what I paid for it. We, in Casper, don’t get a whole lot of Belgian love, in other words, a lot of Belgian imports. This will do VERY nicely. Man, Upslope did one hella good job with this.

12oz can from stumpyiliz. Thanks aaron. Pours a cloudy dark gold with a half finger of wgite head. Aroma of wheat and corriandar with a little nutmeg and orange zest. Taste os light sweet. Wheat and corriandar with more citrus. Medium bodied with a somewhat sticky texture. Lively carbonation and a long finish. Overall, not bad. The alcohol is well hidden and this would be great outside drinking beer. Thanks!

Golden, light haze, thin white head
Aroma - lager pale malts, light belgian yeast esters, soft herbal notes
Taste - soft belgian yeast, some esters, light coriander, soft banana and clove, hint of alcohol
Palate - soft carb, medium body, bit oily. Finish as main flavour, touch of booze
