Draft at the source. Clear maroon color, tan head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of dark chocolate, coffee. Mostly chocolate flavor, lightly bitter finish. Tasty.

Keg at the brewery. Near black with a thin tan head. Poor head retention. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, vanilla. The taste is vanilla, roasted malt, mild chocolate. Medium bodied, mild lingering bitterness.
