12oz bottle at Pizzeria Paradiso - Old Town. Poured a dark ruby color, almost brown, but translucent enough. Aroma is lots of sweet malts, some nutty notes. Lots of caramel notes. Smooth, easy to drink. No unpleasant bitterness to be found. Actually a decent Irish Red.

Location: Draft at Capital Ale - Innsbrook, 1/17/15

Aroma: The nose is fairly light, with some toast/bread, caramel, and a bit of earth
Appearance: Pours a rusty copper color with small off-white head and minimal lacing
Flavor: Tastes similar, with a light-medium sweet, caramel and toast, and a mild bitterness
Palate: The body is light-medium, it has decent mouthfeel, and a soft, lightly dry finish
Overall Impression: I found this to be a fairly average beer overall. You could certainly do a lot worse, it isn't flawed or anything, it's just fine.
