The Berliner Braunbier is our take on an all-but-extinct Northern German sour beer. The Braunbier’s aroma has notes of stone fruit balanced by the slightly tart but still toasty malt backbone. Low in bitterness and light in body, it is effervescent with a clean finish. A low alcohol and mildly tart brown table beer.

Keg at the brewery. Clear dark brown with a thin creamy head. Good head retention. Aroma of roasted malt, carob, dirt, cheese and an almost rotten note. The taste is dark fruits, plum, chocolate. Medium bodied, mild lingering tartness. Something a little off here.
