Location: Draft at the brewery, 1/17/15
Aroma: It has a funky raspberry aroma, some tartness, fairly sour.
Appearance: Pours a dark reddish color, with a beige head, and drippy lace.
Flavor: This one has a sour and fruity flavor, that is lightly sweet and mildly bitter.
Palate: It has a medium body, comes off as decently drinkable, with a rather tart and dry finish.
Overall Impression: I enjoyed this one. I thought the sour/tartness of the raspberry worked pretty well in comparison to other raspberry sours. I found it interesting to drink this after the slutty cousin, because the tart and sour flavors are so much more muted when combined with the chocolate, that I never would have guessed the base beer tasted like this.
