The Japanese pear (Pyrus pyrifolia) is prized for its refreshing, almost thirst-quenching properties and is traditionally enjoyed fresh right off the tree. Hakushika's Japanese Pear is an exciting new type of natural flavor-infused sake and contains no added sulphites or gluten. Excellent for matching with cheese (provolone, parmesan, camembert), roasted turkey, pork (ham, grilled pork chops), sautéed vegetables, and fresh seafood (salmon, ahi tuna).
