Flagship Series. A delicious Oatmeal Stout with just enough hops to balance the copious quantities of dark roasted malts, oatmeal for a creamy smooth drinkability, and whole vanilla beans for a rich complexity.

Bomber from Wine Warehouse. Pours black and thick with an inch of creamy brown head. Aroma of dark chocolate, vanilla, light sweet alcohol. First sip is a bit ordinary, but the second sip is where it all kicks in. Heavy dark chocolates, lots of bitter vanilla, some roasted coffee and a bit of earth. Tasty./\

Bottle from Albertsons. Even my friends are all over the board on this one. Normal stout pour, small skin of a head. Vanilla is the first noticeable aroma, and not out of place on a sweet stout. Taste brings in more vanilla flavor, but again it blends well. Finishes sweet , but short. All in all, very well rounded and approachable

Bomber to glass. Long day of drinking, but this is really just a roasted barley and artificial vanilla concoction/mess. Not too enjoyable. Everything tastes forces and genetically modified.

Bottle. A- Vanilla, cocoa, slightly sweet, bitter, dry. A- Black color, black liquid, brown head. T- Subtle vanilla, bitter coffee, cocoa, dry. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, bitter finish. O- Not as smooth as one would hope and not a ton of vanilla. Seemed to be pretty bitter and dry, especially towards the end and more notes of coffee than anything else. Good for $4 a bomber but otherwise let down.

Ninkasi Vanilla Oatis - bomber from The Bottle Shop in Seoul. A similar reddish black pour. The nose is a nice vanilla, like a pastry brioche. Medium-light bodied, the tasty is roasty chocolate & vanilla with some oats notes. Quite good.
