Tart and sharp, just like the lady herself, Bretty White is a funky take on the classic style. Brewed with a load of wheat and a touch of coriander, we then aged this beer for 6 months with two different stains of Brettanomyces for a funky, fruity, acidic edge. To round out that flavor, we added citrus zest for even more of a mouthful. She’s a complicated woman.

Draft at the Distillery. Rating #4900!
Cloudy yellow color, thick head and strong lacing. Wheat aroma with citrus fruit and funk. Gets funky and a bit tart/sour. Solid beer, but something about it didn't quite get there for me.

On tap at APEX. Pours a cloudy orange color with a large white head. A big bretty funky nose. Citrus. The flavor is robust dry earthy brett, funky woody notes, strong citrus and orange flavors pulled out, some soft hay and more funk. Very good. Hmm. This is not exactly a witbier. Very good.

Draft. Cloudy yellow color, fluffy white head. Aroma of peppery, dusty oranges and light spice. Taste has decent funk and subtle spice on a citrus background. Very tasty.

Bottle. Brett, light coriander, and light floral lemon malt aroma. Cloudy golden yellow with nice head. Strong Brett and lightly sweet lemon malt flavor. Hint of coriander. Good balance. Different - very nice.
