Our Imperial Coconut Porter is a stronger version of robust porter spiced with all natural toasted coconut. It is black in color and crowned with a creamy, dark tan head. It begins with a malty-toasted-coconut aroma followed by a rich, silky mouthfeel with tastes of dark malt, chocolate, and hints of coffee. TCHO cocoa nibs were blended with the toasted coconut during the maturation process to intensify the aroma of coconut and dark chocolate.

Black with a dark creamy head. Roasted malts, chocolate, molasses, some toasted coconut. Not as much coconut as I expected as the powerful malt profile overwhelmed it. Still, this sticky brew is quite delicious.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver; 414ml
Black color, small beige head. Lean body with just moderate sweetness; the chocolate component is very good, while the coconut is not too strong, although it’s evident, mostly in the final.
Balanced and tasty.
Excellent.

Draft - Deep dark chocolate and molasses notes with a touch of sweet coconut. Jet black with a rich brown head. Lots of nice roasty notes, dark chocolate, sweet coconut and a nice rich finish. Much like the original.

Somewhere between a 2 and 4oz draft pour at SAVOR 2015’s Saturday night session. This one is very similar to their standard CoCoNut PorTeR. Poured a black-brown color with a medium sized light tan head. Aroma was malty, chocolate, tons of coconuts. Flavor was light shaved coconut, with dark malts, chocolates, coffee notes. Enjoyable, but I’d probably just stick the the more sessionable of the two.

Draft pour at the Toronado Seattle opening. Pours super dark with a mega coconut aroma. Similar to the original, but much richer, and more coconut in my opinion. Coffee and coconut sweet finish. Think I like the original one better. Not a quick, easy drinking beer, but good overall.

Very dark brown color. Huge notes of dark fruits, roasted malts, caramel, rich, not sweet or cloying, but very heavy and full bodied. Enjoyable.
