We reckon our multi-award winning Doppelbock might just be the Greatest Of All Time – and the judges certainly agree! The aptly named ‘G.O.A.T’ Doppelbock has certainly notched up a few awards in it’s time. The trick behind filling this trophy cabinet? Six quality malts giving this smooth, full-bodied German-style Doppelbock a dark – almost black – colour and a rich, dominant malt aroma and sweetness. It has a warming but soft, smooth mouthfeel, whilst the aroma is toasted and biscuity, with delicate hints of caramel. This is a beer that needs to be consumed at warmer than fridge temperature (preferably 6-8°C) to best enjoy the array of malt flavours and aromas this beer style is best known for. Therefore, it’s ideal to allow to warm being consuming. Try it today and see what all the fuss is about.

Head gone in seconds. Almost clear chestnut-mahogany beer. Sweet chestnuts (indeed) or nuts. Lots of caramel. Honeycovered apero nuts. Caramel, even toffee, very faintly coffee. Some nice diluted syrup for desserts. At least medium bodied, slightly oily, soft carbonation. A Doppelbock from down under, and not bad at all. May you live in interesting times! Many thanks to Joren and Daniel!
