We were super stoked that our homies @buttonwoodsbrewing from Rhode Island made the trip down to our humble spot for the weekend to brew a killer beer and hang for some mutually admired live music. Crappy diner experience aside ?, we had a blast and look forward to rolling up to their place in a month.
As for the beer, this one leans a little sweeter than the majority of our single IPAs but not cloying by any means. Bright citrus notes of lemon, lime and even some exotic Yuzu married with some sweet melon. First time using the Alora varietal and it's said to have unique oil composition containing Selinene a sesquiterpene which is driving a lot of the aforementioned characteristics.

Can from K-Supermarket Pekuri, Oulu. Hazy mango yellow. Thick foamy white head. Aroma has sweet juicy stone fruit with a bitter core. Underlying porridge. Flavourwise there is a resinous and fruit bitter core, with billowing juicy fruit and vanilla porridge. Thick. Creamy. Pithy. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Good, good.

(Can, 0.473l, at Musta Kynnys, 20260519) The beer poured pale amber and opaque. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had ripe fruits, floralness and spiciness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were citrus fruits, mango, ripe fruits, spiciness and bitterness. Aftertaste had ripe fruits, spiciness and bitterness. Bit boozy. Otherwise good.
