Brewed in collaboration with our friends at Cellar West Artisan Ales in Lafayette, CO. This fresh hopped red lager was inspired by an iconic West Coast Fresh Hop Ale from central California but with a Working Draft/Cellar West twist. Brewed with Bohemian Pilsner and Dark Malts as well as a kiss of roasted malt for a bready caramelly base with a deep red/amber hue. We then generously kettle hopped the wort with loads of Saaz and Chinook hops as well as freshly harvested and dried whole cone Centennial Hops from Four Winds Farms in Fitchburg, WI and fresh whole cone Cascades from Billy Goat Farms in Montrose, CO. The results is a malty and pleasantly bitter Red Lager with notes of Pine, Citrus and Cedar.

16oz can. Really solid. Drinks more like an Ale to me, but that doesn't matter I guess. Big malts, big hops. Depth. Balance. Fresh and lovely, no flaws. Great beer.
