Draft at the source. Hazy golden yellow color. Aroma of chocolate (shocking, I know). Taste is chocolate milk shake. Interesting and entertaining.

Sample at GABF 10/03/2014, thanks to my sis for assistance with note-taking. Clear golden color with a medium thin white head that recedes quickly. Spotty lacing. Aroma of chocolate and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of chocolate malt and grain. The finish is sweet with a chocolatey aftertaste. Decent overall.

Draft. Deep golden body. Frothy, off-white head. Aroma of chocolate powder, toasted grain, biscuit. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Taste of chocolate drops, but not so much as to dominate the flavor. Pretty well balanced for a novelty beer.

Tap at brewery. Strong chocolate aroma. Clear straw gold with a small white head. Creamy milk chocolate and light malt flavor. Light to medium body, flat carbonation. Sort of weird beer, but it’s exactly what it claims to be, so I can’t really fault it.
