Danny Black is an interestingly hoppy, dark brown almost black IPA that is brewed with centennial and citra hops. It will now be offered year-round. The brew is inspired by the great IPA acceptance and further desire for dark brown, porter, and stout beers with hoppy undertones. Brewed to just more than 6 percent ABV and served in a traditional Irish tulip pint glass, the Danny Boy Beers offer to the craft market a nicely robust flavor of craft brews for the session able sports pub crowd. This is a perfect complement to their Training Day Hop forward Pale Ale.

Draft - Dark chocolate roast. Jet brown with a small beige head. Dark roasty notes with some cocoa. No hops here.

Draft. Black! Big beige head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of roasty chocolate and pine. Taste is bitter cocoa, burnt espresso, more pine. This is my kind of black IPA, thank you for brewing it.

Draft: Pours black, red highlights,with a small tan head. Coffee roast, chocolate scent. Ashy, coffee-chocolate malty, roast, licorice flavor. Mild grapefruit-peel bitter. Pretty good.

Draft. Chocolate caramel malt and pine/grapefruit peel aroma. Brown-black with minimal head. Creamy chocolate malt and moderately bitter ash/grapefruit peel flavor. Tasty - very malty.
