Cab franc skin & vine saison. Happy Place, the latest in our beer-wine hybrid series, is a naturally conditioned saison aged on Cab Franc grapes and skins while the canes and vines are harvest-dried, to smoke a portion of the grain, adding tannin and structure. Dry with a piquette-like intensity.

Taster at the brewery, in Hamilton, ON, Canada. Pours a beautiful and elegant amber, transparent, with fine white foam, limited. Aroma is of grapes, fall leaves. Body is and carbonation are average. Taste is elegantly sour, almost peated as well. Final is fairly long.
