La Maison, our “house” French farmhouse saison, is our tribute to the vibrant and varied saison style. Aromatic hops from the Pacific Northwest contribute fragrant notes of citrus, grapefruit and pine; and a generous dose of Indiana clover honey from Hunter’s Farm creates a bright, refreshing body. Enjoy a sip of the summer season any time of year.

Pink bubblegum and florals. Been a while since I had a saison with that double bubble vibe. Hazy golden amber pour with good head and lacing. Light sweet finish. Tap at Taxman downtown.

Sampled from a can this beer poured an apricot color with a lots of little floaters and a medium sized yellow white head that left good lacing. The aroma was yeasty and phenolic with bubblegum and perfume. The flavor was yeasty, phenolic and a bit medicinal with bubblegum and faint golden fruit. Long finish. Moderately full bodied.

12oz can from Anndiesel. A well thought out beer, the NW hops and the honey work well. Full bodied but still drinkable. If this had a more true effervescent mouthfeel, it would really stand out more. Good beer overall.

tap at Pedal City in June 2017 - Gold pour. Bready malt, citrusy, spicy aroma. The flavor is sweet malt up front with some refreshing, dry, spicy yeast saison character coming through with mild hops bitterness. Good.

Draft. Hazy golden body. Frothy white head. Aroma of spice, clove, pepper, lemon, light funk. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly bitter. Medium body, watery/creamy texture, moderate carbonation. Heavy on the spice/clove/sweet honey. Light Belgian yeast mustiness. Underattenuated. More like a light Belgian golden than a saison.
