Rich in sweet malt flavor. A year in a bourbon barrel added to the already warming finishing of this big Scottish ale. In a nod to traditional brewing practice we relied on a complex, extended boiling process to produce the styles classic caramel notes.

Hazy brown with a medium sized white head. Sweet and malty with strong whiskey followed by honey, caramel and fruit. Long finish. Full bodied.
