Draft. A black beer with a tan head. The aroma has notes of coffee, roasted malt, and alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, fruit, vanilla, and alcohol, leading to a bitter finish.

Crowler courtesy of SinH4, through his Euroswap. Pours black with no head. Aroma is milk chocolate, chocolate milk, barrel, booze, dark fruit. Body is medium but super strong, very sweet, lots of chocolate, milk, prunes, barrel, raisin. Flat due to crowler. Viscous, thick. Long sweet palate. Great beer!

Crowler, many thanks SlackerMads! Pitch black color with dark soapy head. Aroma is dark molten chocolate, coffee, a touch of raisins, port, Schnapspraline. Taste is port, molten chocolate, raisins, plums, sherry, coffee, boozy finish. Low carbonation, oily viscous mouthfeel. Amazing stuff!

Draught@CBC2015 (blue session). Pitch black colour, small brown head. Aroma is vanilla, some fruits, liquorice, mild toasted notes. Flavour is quite similar, with some slight sherry like sweetness to it. Quite sweet, but would most likely be superb paired with chocolate cake.

Nice brown slightly bubbly mediumlasting head. Aroma is mild and sweet, dark sugar, vanilla, dark malts, cocoa, caramel, grass, oak, raisins, chocolate pudding, hints of alcohol. Taste is slightly rich and sweet, dark sugar, dark malts, grass, oak, vanilla, caramel, raisins, bark, chocolate pudding, sour coffee. Medium bitterness, slightly sour-ish dry mouthfeel. Nice.

Draught @ CBC 2015 [ Blue Session ]. - Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2015, Sparta Hallen, Gunnar Nu Hansens Plads 11, 2100 Copenhagen, Denmark [ As Warpigs Smoldering Holes BA Sherry ].Clear dark black brown color with a small, fizzy, virtually none lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, caramel, chocolate, vanilla, wood - cherry stones. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, roasted, vanilla, wood - cherry stones, chocolate . Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150501]
