From growler. Pours a nice deep brown but has little head. Not sure if the cap was a little loose or what. Aromas are brown-raisins, nuts, autumn leaf litter and a little chocolate. Flavor is more of the same, but with an astringent alcohol bite to it that is slightly disruptive.
