Reviewed from notes.
The appearance was a cloudy sort of amber color with a cap of a little off white head that fell off at a decent pace. Stringy lace.
The aroma had some rye sweetness, but not necessarily the spice with some orange and citrus sweetness and a growing floral hoppiness. Nice caramel malt base.
The flavor yields to the sweetness of the blend and slowly riding into the aftertaste to follow into the finish.
The feel was about medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Sturdy carbonation. ABV felt fine.
Overall, a rye beer that leaned towards the sweet side more, still, I didn’t mind that it did lose it’s spicy nature that I get in most rye beers.
