Pours reddish brown with a small head. Aroma of funky yeastiness, hints of bretta, wood, oak, vinous berries, vanilla and toffee. Taste is stuffy, a bit messy with loads of oak, wood, vanilla, vinous notes, bretta and toffee. Finish is stingy and woody with hints of bretta, oak, toffee, vanilla and red wine. A bit strange and messy.

Too much bourbon for my liking. Pours amber without much head or lacing. Bitter sour finish. Some oak and sour cherry. Doesn’t come together well for my liking. Tap at brewpub.

Medium beige head. Clear deep dark red body with light carbonation. Funky wild fruit and toffee aroma with spicy notes. Sweetish funky earthy taste with spicy notes. Fullish body. Slightly fizzy mouthfeel. Dryish barnyard and wood aftertaste with ripe cheese and chocolate notes. Lingering manure. It’s not bad, but I think the ripeness is overdone. (0.65l bottle, from Kihoskh, Copenhagen.)

Ruby color, big foamy off-white head. Some cellar and citrus in the nose. Medium-bodied. Liquerish, alcoholic, bretta, a bit cellary. Kind of simple.
