Thanks Trevor.
This was poured into a snifter.
The appearance was a dark brown close to black color with a finger’s worth of quickly dissipating white foamy head. Sliding stringy lace
The aroma smelled like someone dropped thick milk chocolate fudge in it. Super sweet all around, subtle signs of caramel and vanilla.
The flavor leaned definitely to the sweet side, thick milk chocolatey fudge surrounding the aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body. Fairly easy to take down for an imperial stout. ABV even felt a bit lighter than what was projected by the brewer. Pretty smooth all around.
Overall, imperial sweet stout? That’s what I believe. I didn’t mind so much for me.
