Toby is our Flagship Strong Golden Ale made with 100% New York ingredients. Brewed with a Trappist style yeast and local wildflower honey, you'll taste earthy, fruity notes that balance with the flavors of Cascade and Noble hops. 'Toby' is named after the brewer's yellow Labrador, a puppy of the brewery's mascot, Duncan.

I have a 16 oz can from an order with Half Time Beverage. My glass of choice is a globe, I make the pour. The appearance is a pale gold completed by a vigorous top of snow white foam. The nose is appealing, there is peaches, grain, a hint of hops and meadow. A drink now. I have to say, this is a pretty fair beer. Apricots, plenty of hops bitterness, sweetness from the honey I assume and white bread. Close enough to be a tripel I think. The brew has a fine fullness, I appreciate that. Hope to see this one again. If I could, I'd rate the beer 8.2 but the site won't let me. It gets 8.1 instead.
