It tastes weird. I asked for water. The bartender is chatting with the two other people in the bar so I’m going with it’s still weird and not my palate. I’ll never know.

12oz can. Amateur cheap wrap. Oily, resinous, burnt hop aroma. A blast from the past. Old school antiquated IIPA, but actually sort of charming in a way. There is ample hop depth, from pine to NW citrus. A little oily for me, but better than I anticipated. OK.

Minnesota Trip Beer #83. Keg at the Happy Gnome, 5/9/16. Clear copper, thin creamy off-white head, good retention. Aroma of candied citrus, resin, floral and herbal hops, pale malt. The taste is tropical fruit, mango, melon, pale malt. Medium bodied, lingering bitterness.

Draft at JL Beers in Minot. Admins, for verification, see photo. Aroma of bright pine and grapefruit. Huge juicy tropical fruit and pineapple flavor. Very tasty if you like a fruity IPA.
