Malty - Crisp - Bready • This special beer is a historical remake of Ruby Lager, originally produced by Washington Brewery back in the 1800's only a few blocks away from where RBB is now! While the original recipe is lost to time, we collaborated with our friends at DCbeer.com and Lost Lagers to develop a recipe using ingredients we thought to be available back in the day. Our base is Bohemian Floor-Malted pilsner barley (malted the old, traditional way) and German Saaz hops. This beer is a crisp, ruby-colored easy drinker well suited for the winter months! Prost!
