Dark fruited sour of Belgian Kriek (ie cherry) inspiration, barrel-fermented with the house Brettanomyces culture in freshly emptied Imperial Stout bourbon barrels, aged for a year, and then aged an additional two years on sour cherries. Deep brown with a pink hue, full of rich malt, grainy, with a pronounced chocolate character and very subtle roast. Strong tart cherry flavor and aroma, with moderate acidity, and complex stone fruit and leather Brett fermentation notes.
