Shared bottle at Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours hazy amber with off-white head. Aroma of pine needles, ethanol, caramel, dark fruits. Taste is sweet, but well balanced by hop bitterness. Bitter finish, but not as bitter as one would expect.

On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Hazy orange colour, low white head. Strong hoppy aroma, notes of oranges, grapefruit and pine. The flavour has some malty sweetness, but not more than needed to balance the intense hoppy character, with notes of oranges, grapefruit and resin. Bitter finish, of course. Warming mouthfeel.

Draft - Sweet malty leafy citrus hops. Clear gold. Big citrus bitterness and orange. Huge bitterness is a bit over the top.

Draught at Moylans. Almost clear amber liquid with small to medium white head. Aroma of citrus, tangerine, mango, caramel and light grain. Taste is light sweet and medium bitter with notes of mango, citrus and tangerine. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Pretty solid old school DIPA. Nice hop tonez.

650 ml bottle at the Hoppy Pub, Thessaloniki, courtesy of Constantin. Light hazy golden orange color with off white head. Malty and hoppy aroma, caramel, fruity, grapefruit, pine, grassy. Sweet and bitter taste like aroma. Medium oily body with soft carbonation. Great for 1 year old bottle!

Bottle shared in London - cheers to Daniel. Pours lightly hazy orange-gold with a frothy, off-white head. The nose holds pine, bread, toasted grains, ripe citrus, crackers. Medium to big sweet flavor with obvious alcohol, more crackery malts, lightly faded pine, bread, orange peel. Full bodied, oily, with fine carbonation. Warming finish with some piney bitterness, crusty toast, citrus rind, more alcohol. A somewhat heavy handed DIPA that’s perhaps not at its freshest. So so.

Bottle shared at Craft Beer Co. 10/09/2015. Many thanks to Daniel for this one. Aroma is earthydank, semi-sweet sticky resin, caramel malts and pine needles. Translucent golden with a sticky off white head. Flavour is dirty earthy pine, caramel, resinous hops and a touch of farmyard in the finish. Palate is chewy, semi-sweet, highish carbonation. Aggressive bitterness: too big for me.
