Craft Clerkenwell Bottle Share. Thanks to Dan. Hazy orange - amber beer, small cream colour head. Palate is softish and slightly viscous, mild fine carbonation. Nice malts - some creamy sweetness, somewhat thick and sticky. Hops are mild skunk, hop spice, mild tropical fruits, more hop spice. Touch of aniseed alcohol. Mild caramel. Smooth finish. A big chewy DIPA I was right in the mood for.

Bottle thanks to Dan. It pours murky burnt orange with a decent yellow-white head. The nose is sweet, sticky, oily, stewed orange, mango, apricot, peach, toast and earth. The taste is punchy bitterness upfront, sticky sweetness, mango, peach, resinous, pine, some hop astringency, chewy malt base and some alcohol boost through the finish. Medium - full body and moderate carbonation. A big old bitter-sweet, chewy old-skool double IPA. Mighty decent.
