Half-pint, draught at the brewpub. Shared with Magne. Deep black body, tiny beige head, spotty lacing. Inviting on the nose with mid-dry dark malt, nicely roasted. Dark malt-driven taste character, bite of earthy chocolate and dark bread followed by a bite of dried fruits toward the ending. Medium bodied. Pleasing. (Covent Garden. London 02.03.2026).

Tap at the Guinness open gate brewery London. A clear nut brown coloured pour with a a lasting creamy beige head. Aroma is semi sweet, raisin loaf, nutty roast, light spice. Flavour is composed of malt load, raisin bran, light char, woody roast. Lingering bark and spice. Palate is semi sweet, semi crisp, highish spritzy carbonation. Not bad.
