Description: Exquisite & rich malt flavors tucked in nicely to a beer that is nothing special, yet perfect in its own way. We’ve found it to be extremely cozy & well suited to atmospheric rivers. Toasty pie crust, cuppa earl grey bitterness, cozy.

16oz can from Tavour. Dark amber pour, mostly clear, thin covering of fine off-white foam. Malty aroma, whole grain bread, toffee. Taste comes in like a slice of toasted brown bread, malty, caramel with a little bit of dryness. Nutty, woody, smooth. I'd love this on cask.

Aromas are malt, rye bread, burnt sugar and dirty laundry. Flavors are similar to nose and slightly more sweet than bitter with okay carbonation. Full bodied. Fairly true to style from distant memories.

Can from Tavour. Pours a light ruddy color that could be "dilute" mahogany. Moderate creamy tan head that didn't persist. Aroma is toffee/bready. Med body. Malty but fairly towards dry. Moderately bitter. Hop seems floral. If this was cask, it would be spot on.

On tap at Human People, pours a clear dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma has dry English bready malt and a touch of butterscotch. Flavour is pretty authentic, with lots of English bready malt, some toasted caramel, and a smidgeon of hoppy bitterness in back. Bready, caramely finish. I could do with a drier and more bitter finish. Pleasant.
