A beer special in everything. Sarajevsko Premium has a special taste derived from fine select aromatic types of hops, that strengthen the taste of this beer. Because of that we attribute to our superb product special characteristics.

Bottled at Pivnica HS, Sarajevo. Hazy golden, rich head. Fruity cardboard aroma. Sweetish with light-medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Faint grass, surprisingly much cardboard for a brewery fresh beer, notes of dough. Fairly low bitterness.

Medium gold colour. The aroma has a saazy accent and some pale malts. Clean palate. Still fairly low bitterness but some saaz accents and again this is quite malty. A decent Bohemian-style beer that would benefit from a little more bitterness.

50cl bottle at a pub in Sarajevo. Golden with a white head. A nice change from the usual sweet pale lagers. Refreshing with some bitterness. Quite nice. [Backlog: Tasted in Sarajevo 2010-09-01]

Der etwas stärkere Bruder das normalen Sarajevsko pivo. Etwas voller im Geschmack als dieses, auch wenn die Farbe dies nicht andeuten lässt. Im Vergleich zu den öst. und dt. Spezial-Bieren in Ordnung. Eher als Magenschließer nach dem Essen als direkt zum Essen geeignet.

0.5l bottle. Yellow golden color with solid white head. It’s medium bitter with sweet finnish. I liked it more that Sarajevsko, but now as much as I’ve expected.

Bottled, 0.5 l. Slightly hazy golden colour with large creamy white head and mild carbonation. Aroma of malt, floral hops and unfortunatelly, urine, too. Sour grapefruit flavour with short bitter aftertaste. Medium bodied with oily texture and average carbonation in palate. Not more than average dull lager...

Bottle. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Some bready notes. Light bitter bready flavor. Short light bitter finish. Watery palate.

0.5 l bottle as the last I brought from Mostar (thanx dear Tea for a great welcome there!). Poured golden body with smaller head. Aroma is malty with a bit of citrus and apple hops. Flavor moderately bitter, but not too much dry, quite less than Sarajevsko. It is quite full bodied for a lager. Oily textured with moderate carbonation. Finish is pleasant, actually great with that bitterness turning into slight sweetness. I really liked this one, well it’s not fantastic but very good, similar to Sarajevsko with an accent to better.

0.5l fliptop bottle bought in a Konzum store in Zagreb. Costs around 1.9€ in kunas (for comparison, import macros cost around 1€). This had better be worth it!Poured a yellow colour with a medium-big thick white head that went away at a medium pace. Nose... soggy cornflakes, honey, dust. What the?! The taste is a bit better, with some weak, but somewhat pleasant lemony/herbal hopiness that engulfs an even weaker graininess and forming an aftertaste that’s a bit crude but is passable. Notes of metal and sulphur emerge from time to time and the body is quite thin. I would consider drinking this more often if it was priced around 5-6kn. At more than twice the cost it deserves, this will end up being yet another beer on the shelves that I’m ignoring until I’m desperately in need of a fliptop bottle. It’s by far the best beer I’ve had from this brewery but that wasn’t all that hard to achieve, now was it? Not even the best pale/premium lager in BiH.
