Pint size can, at tasting. thx Arde.
Pkg on 08/12/25.
Poured slightly hazy and orange in color.
Warming and quite boozy with mostly overripe fruits, some pine and malts. Could not finish a whoile can by myself.
Sweet, piney and resinous with hints of dankness, grass, caramel malt, booze and floral hoppiness. Easy drinking but a bit heavy

Aroma is our slightly old resin, malt, a bit of citrus and taffy. Flavors are similar to nose and bittersweet. Okay body and carbonation. Not much sign of alcohol.

From US. Dark golden colour, mid-sized white head. Pine and resin in the nose. Medium-bodied. Pine, resin and some caramalt, a bit of fruityness. Balanced, resiny, old schoolish. Good.

A purchase at the local beer place, thank you Terry. Deschutes, the home of Abyss, is cranking out DIPAs now? Life is good. And it’s a stovepipe can? All I can say is value, baby, value. I have a Belgian chalice out from a previous tasting, yeah it will do. The pour is a clear pale yellow completed by a light skim of totally white foam. I smell pine cones, grass and yellow fruit. And the drink is rather swell. Definitely a throwback IPA with lots of hoppy bitterness, lemons, white bread, malt, a caramel sweetness, a touch of herb and the accompanying dankness. Not what I’d call a hop bomb like Hop Stoopid or Elevation but in the neighborhood. I am transported to an appreciated time.

Hazy gold, small white head. Piney bready nose. Big dank profile, harsh alcohol heat. Big bodied with a harsh unpleasant bitterness from hops and alcohol. Far too boozy

Imperial pint can (arguably excessive). Clear amber with a large near white head. 3+ Pretty reserved aroma with mango, pine, caramel. Medium bodied. Opens up in the taste with more citrus and pine, sweet breadcrust or bun meeting the mango. Can feel the alcohol a bit towards the fairly bitter finish. Doesn't do enough to justify its strength but it's pretty good.
