$8.99 500-ml bottle from Total Wine, S Richmond. Pours slightly hazy gold with no head or carbonation. Aroma is very much barrel - not necessarily bourbon, but the wood/barrel is there, also light apple, light glue. Flavor is barrel, apple, earth, light bourbon. Would be better with carbonation as the flavor isn't bad... it just falls flat (well, literally it is).

Bottle from Village Market & Bistro, shared with nate2g. Cloudy pale yellow color, occasional coaxed bubble. Aroma of apple flesh, light tannins. Taste is bitter tannic apples with some sort of herb in the finish. Interesting, but a bit strange.
