Light roast with some hops. Good all around package and easy to drink. Pours chestnut brown with good head and lacing on cask. Light bittersweet finish. Cask.

Cask at Churchkey dry hopped with Promise hops. Cloudy amber brown color, tan head. Aroma of lightly herbal cocoa. Taste has citrus and cocoa in an interesting combo. Tasty.

Pour is a dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is of roasted notes with some chocolate. Flavor is a bigger chocolate with a nice roast and finishes a bit sweet. Decent brown ale here, almost boarding on a porter.

Draft @ the brewery. Pours a slightly hazy brown amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty hoppy caramel aroma with weak hints of citrus. Slightly roasted malty hoppy caramel flavor. Has a fruity malty hoppy caramel finish.

Draft during RBSG 2014 Bus Tour at The Civil Life. Dark amber brown with off-white to light tan head. Aromas of nutty notes, caramel, light floral notes. Tastes of nutty notes, caramel, toast, biscuit. Medium body with a dry finish. Syrupy mouthfeel.
