A blend of Imperial Stouts aged in freshly dumped bourbon barrels (Willett, Woody Creek, Heaven Hill, Russell’s) for 22 months. Smooth and full-bodied with flavors and aromas of baker’s chocolate, marshmallow, and caramel. The finish is warm and long-lasting with notes of toasted oak and spice.

8 ounce can from Tavour. Jet black pour. Brief tan head. Aromas of roasted malt and bourbon. Flavors of dark malt, vanilla, oak and whiskey. Warming alcohol in middle. Further along comes hints of dark chocolate and licorice. The finish is long and bitter. Big brew in a little can!

Aroma: American oak, low to moderately sweet, a bit meaty.
Taste: along the same lines, a lot of caramel somehow, which I wouldn't expect from the imperial stout. Finishes with some bitterness.
Overall: pleasant, but not mind blowing.
