Righ to Brew Series. An American Strong Ale/Barleywine with a huge dose of wheat, Vern’s is sweet, potent, and full-bodied with a soft mouthfeel. Notes of caramel, molasses and dark cherries abound in this lightly spicy and complex beer.

Bottle. Vinous malt, earthy herbal, and alcohol aroma. Viscous hazy amber with a minimal ivory head. Sticky sweet caramel malt, earthy, fruity, sweet orange hops, and big boozy flavor. Full sticky body. The whole thing is just a little too cloyingly sweet for my taste.
