Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 7

Reviewed from notes.
The appearance was a fairly dark copper haze with a thin white colored foamy head that fell off at a decent pace. Light stringy lace.
The aroma had a nice blend of caramel/toffee malts, light toast, and grassy/earthy hops. Not much bitterness, but a soothing herbal quality also came in fairly nice.
The flavor leaned into the malts fairly quick with a decent little aftertaste of those malts. Sly little earthy hop finish.
The feel was roughly medium bodied, maybe just a tad under with a decent sessionability about it. ABV felt right despite it being just a tad high for the style.
Overall, worthy ESB of having again if I could get it.
