This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a dark brown color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute. Light lacing strung its way down the glass.
The smell had a light nutty/caramel blend in a slight roasty sort of way.
The taste was moderately sweet with a gentle roastiness about it.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium with a decent sessionability about it. Carbonation finishes slightly smooth. There’s a nice roasty creamy nuttiness rolling over my tongue.
Overall, I say this was a pretty good brown ale.
