Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a dark brown close to black color with a bar pour’s kind of head, slim almost not even there.
The smell had a fair roasty quality about it with a slight bitter edge of coffee bean allowing a light chocolate to balance.
The taste was mainly a balancing of sweet to roasty.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionability about it. There’s a slight sweet chocolatey dry aftertaste with a dry finish.
Overall, good stout I could down again.
