Reviewed from old notes.
This was poured into a pint glass at the brewpub.
The appearance was a semi-hazy golden yellow color with a slim bar pour’s kind of filmy white head. The lacing, uh...not exactly there, but yeah, okay, sure if one wants to think its there.
The smell was somewhat mineral / maybe somewhat herbal with a weird earthy quality of sweet corn. Does that make sense? Hmmm...I’m not exactly sure if it makes sense to me.
The taste was mainly mineral / earthy / herbally sweet. Sweet Corn - def yes, it pounds my taste buds into a sweet submission.
On the palate, this one sat about/at a light to medium on the tongue. Sessionability was slightly there...not bad...
Overall, for a blonde ale, okay, for me, uh...just plain different...I want to say weird, but I won’t...its just different and I’ll leave it at that.
