The appearance was a nice looking hazy to slight bronzed orange with a nice transparency about it. Slightly thick one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute leaving a light lacing roaming around the glass.
The smell started off with the Chipotle, and it’s real and sharp but good. After a bit of warming, a nice sweet settling cocoa powder helps to balance.
The taste copies the smell nicely. Light aftertaste of sweet cocoa settles over my tongue.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation seemed to be fair and good for the style.
Overall, yes, of course I would have this again. Job well done, Alaskan!
