This was poured into a pint glass and on tap at Vermont tap house, Williston Vermont.
The appearance was a nice dark brown almost close to black in color. Bar pour yields no head nor lacing.
The smell had a big luscious sweet milk chocolate rolling into deep bitter to roasty coffee beans.
The taste copied the smell and carried into the aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. Carbonation runs fairly light. Creamy smooth sweetness slides on my tongue.
Overall, I say this was a pretty good porter that I would have again.
