Sample glass at Growler Garage.
The appearance was a golden yellow color with a bar pour’s kind of cap of a head that slimmed out accordingly to a normal bar pour, rating adjusted accordingly.
The smell had a sweet grassy to citrusy aroma running into a nice sweet grainy aroma.
The taste was sweet and bitter through the hops and the wheat. There’s a nice sweet citrusy aftertaste leading into a nice finish.
On the palate, this one sat pretty light on the body with a nice sesionable feel surrounding it. Carbonation feels right for the style and for me with a decent bitterness banging around.
Overall, its nice for an American Pale Wheat ale. I’d have this again preferably in the Summer.
