The California crew aged this luscious liquid in Wild Turkey bourbon barrels allowing it to pick up notes of caramel, toffee, and oak, that ought to beautifully accentuate the fantastically fudgy flavors of the base beer.

Waxed, capped 500 from Tavour. Pours dark brn/blk with a creamy/foamy tan head. Aroma of dark caramel, bourbon and some wood. Full bodied. Not dry, but missed sticky. Fair amount of heat which partially stands in for bitter. Dark toffee, bourbon, heat, dark chocolate and some oak for flavor. Eclipse remains a good drink in this version.
