On tap at the brewpub.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a soft glossy burnt to transparent brown color. Light transparency is seen roaming throughout. Thin finger-ed white foamy head quickly dissipating into the beer. Light lacing.
The smell had some sweet caramel/toffee/nuttiness going on. All seemed really combined.
The taste was basically the same. I didn’t mind it for me. However, there is that slight nutty sweet aftertaste running into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to almost medium on the body. Yeah, it’s definitely a lighter one for the style, me, well, I’m not so worried.
Overall, English styled, okay, I get it, sure, session Brown ale - more likely, definitely crushable.
