Alright, so glad I get to be the first to review this, because I have a feeling many after me will shit on this b/c its not Hill Farmstead or Lawson’s, as many won’t even bother posting a date of the beer or the glassware they put it in. / end rant, please go away shitheads that don’t know how to rate to style, you suck and so does your life.
Here’s the rest.
Bottling date of 05/26/2016.
Poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a burnt hazy orange color with a settling little bit of a white foamy head. Lacing rides along delicately after dissipation of the head.
The smell had a superb bitter juicy grapefruit to orange bitterness rolling all about. Super subtle resin underneath.
The taste was absolutely phenomenal - sweet juicy orange pulpiness bursting into a sly bitter grapefruit bitter rind-like quality. Quick sweet to wet orange/grapefruit aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sipping to sessionable quality about it. Carbonation rides super light allowing the IBU’s to hit appropriately but somewhat in a super smooth feel.
Overall, another knock out of the park beer by Frost and those who rate after me without dates or telling us the glassware can suck it.
