On tap at the brewery.
This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a hazy burnt yellow to orange color with a thin finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated at a nice even pace.
The smell started off with a big and bright full fledged citrus crisp sweet pulp. A low key amount of juiciness slides in nicely. Bitter rind-like qualities. Subtle fresh cut grass. And then a sly amount of bitter pine underneath. Some berries (Blackberry/ blueberry tart to sweetness).
The flavor takes in all of the previously mentioned flavors and blends together very well. Quick sweet juicy to pulp-like structured aftertaste, nice and refined. Juicy finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionability about it. Carbonation rides nicely underneath.
Overall, though poured into a tulip, I still get what’s going on and thought this was a nice APA, well worthy of having again.
