Tap at Sedona. Pours black. Aroma is coffee and chocolate. Flavor is chocolate, licorice, coffee. Kinda weak. Long lingering coffee flavor. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Nitro pour at Rustico Alexandria. Poured a nearly pitch black color with a nice fluffy, creamy light tan head. Aroma had some nice roasted malt notes, light burnt malts. Bitter chocolates, light coffee. Really nice.

Draft at the source. Dak brown color, massive beige head. This one is actually a beer first and coffee drink second, rather than a coffee bomb. Not bad.

Keg at Mellow Mushroom Charlottesville. Clear dark red tinted brown, large creamy tan head. Good retention. Aroma of rich coffee, chocolate, vanilla, mild earth and roast. The taste is chocolate, roast, coffee, dark fruit and a hoppy finish. Medium bodied, well balanced, mild lingering bitterness.

Coffee nose. Mahogany pour, thin head. Coffee dominated flavor with much lesser roasty notes underneath. Light to medium body, moderate carbonation. Not very complex, but tasty.
