Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a ruddy burnt orange almost red to brown color. Foamy fingerโs worth of white head started and dissipated appropriately. Barely any lacing.
The aroma takes in some sweet rye popping over a nice caramel malt base. Sly crisp flow of citrus hops are underneath.
The flavor wraps all of the previously mentioned aromas together nicely to mainly stick together in the aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a great sessionability about it. Low carbonation. Subtle crisp sweet to low spicy harshness hits the tongue.
Overall, nice rye ale that I could have again.
