This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a ruddy burnt orange almost brown color. Thin white cap of a head. Mild trickling lacing.
The aroma starts off with some malty caramel to toffee tones. Sly nuttiness. Light toast, some grassiness.
The flavor brings it altogether malty sweet and very clean. Malty rich nutty to caramel aftertaste. Quick malty finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a really nice sessionable smooth malty feel. Low carbonation.
Overall, this one was a pretty good ESB, pass the fish n’chips.
